App Privacy
This notice describes information used by the Dateolicious mobile dating app, operated by Dateolicious Inc., part of The Romnus Group.
Information the app uses
Depending on the features you use, account information can include your email, username, date of birth, profile details, preferences, uploaded photos, messages and interactions such as likes, winks or profile visits.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we use the provider account identifier and the email information supplied for sign-in. Apple may supply a private relay email address. Your Google or Apple password is not provided to Dateolicious.
The app also uses connection and diagnostic information, device notification tokens, and purchase or entitlement records needed to operate the features you select.
Location, photos and permissions
We use the location you enter for matching. If you choose device location and grant permission, the app can use device coordinates. You can enter your location manually instead and change device permissions in system settings.
Photos you choose to upload become part of your profile according to the available visibility controls. Notification and other device permissions can be managed through your device settings. Denying optional permissions may limit the related feature.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to create and secure accounts, show profiles, support matching and messaging, process selected features and purchases, deliver notifications, respond to support requests and investigate abuse.
Profile information and content you share through community features may be visible to other members according to the feature and your settings. Do not include information you do not want recipients to retain or share.
Service providers may process information for hosting, email, push notifications, sign-in, advertising and payment verification. Information may also be disclosed when needed to comply with applicable obligations, protect users or address fraud and security incidents.
Advertising and app-store purchases
Advertising services used by the app may process device identifiers and ad interactions according to your device settings and applicable consent choices. Review your device advertising and privacy controls.
Digital purchases made through Google Play or Apple are processed by the relevant store. Dateolicious uses transaction evidence and entitlement information to deliver and verify purchased features; do not send full card details to support.
Storage, security and retention
The app stores sign-in credentials in device-protected storage and keeps preferences and selected cached content on the device. Account and service data is also stored on our systems. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and address legal, security, transaction or dispute requirements. Some records may need to remain after an account deletion request. Deleting the app from your device does not itself delete your account.
Account deletion and privacy requests
Open Profile, Settings, then the account pause/delete option. If you cannot access that option or cannot sign in, email support to request account deletion. Include the account email or username so we can identify the request, but never send a password, verification code or sign-in token.
You may also contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion or other privacy choices available where you live. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request. Requests are subject to applicable requirements and any records that must be retained.
Cancel any active store subscription separately through Google Play or Apple. Account deletion, pausing a profile or uninstalling the app does not replace store subscription management.
