MY STORY
In any meaningful life there must be balance of body, mind and spirit. That’s easy to say but hard to do. Balance comes from lifes lessons, both good and bad. The ability to repeat the good and keep out the bad is our eternal challenge.Running the road of life I chanced upon hidden trails of paradise.I have had great experiences family, career, and travel. Like most men there have been times when I failed to ask for directions. As such, I have driven by the gates of hell, close enough to get burned a time or two. But I have symmetry in my life.I embrace expectations of goodness, family, love, and a calling to a greater duty.Strong work ethic is important and I strive to better myself most every day. Work hard, play hard, and love all the while.I’m not selfabsorbed or materialistic.I get more of a thrill from telling stories with friends around a campfire than I do from driving a nice car. My values and definition of self do not come from prime time TV or People magazine. It’s important to know how to enjoy the good life as well as make the best out of hard times.My clan includes my kids While I live alone.Life is not perfect and I was married once for Years I never expected to be Widow, but I learned about what I want and need. Perhaps most important is giving affection both mental and physical and getting the same in return. There is something to be said for the word "match". While I dont think it essential to share all the same things there is harmony in having the same values, tastes, and to some degree, activities. A great couple must like to do things together, but they must also have a life of their own. Again, balance is the key.There is no hurry to find the right "match" but I am looking.I love a woman who loves to be a lady yet knows how to be a girl. A good man should respect the woman and play with the girl. Sharing outdoor activities, not afraid to get dirty from time to time, all sound good to me. So does lying in bed sharing coffee and the Sunday paper. I share, clean house and cook with the best of them. Ive had love that makes butterflies dance on your heart. I want it again. The years should never weaken the internal sigh and rise of pleasure when we see each other across the room. I figure I have fifty good years to love someone. And what is love? To me it is a combination of physical attraction and spiritual nurturing. Both are equally important, but at some point, if you are lucky, you get old. You then live on the memory of beauty. In order to perpetuate love, each partner must forever fill the spiritual, mental, and psychological needs of the other
