MY STORY
I wonder how many of us, when in our teens and twenties, had been told that in our fifties, sixties and seventies he whispered would still be looking for a soul mate? Strange, the curve life throws at us.
Im a very laid back guy of 72 who doesnt look , act or feel my age .I’m Looking for a Lady within a sensible distance from me to form a relationship with. Sounds rather prim, doesn’t it?Enjoy a few drinks with, a few meals, weekends away. To be relaxed around each other and feel a glow in each other’s company.
I think I, and probably you, have been on my own far too long to rush in to living with someone. Commit, yes, see each other several times weekly , weekends, holidays etc but I think we’re of an age where we need our space Maybe the truth is that Im not looking for someone I can live with, but someone I cant live without.
The highlight of my life is my four year old grandson. Hes gorgeous and I adore him. He and my daughter live in North London and I spend 23 days each week with them.
I value each day of my life. I had Cancer in 2010 and it seemed at the time I wasnt going to make it I did, case youre wondering and it really made me appreciate life. I still take pride in my appearance and am looking for a Lady who does the same.
I love music, still sing and play guitar, and have a massive music collection. I also love to laugh and need to laugh.
