We all have at least some baggage at this stage in life, dont you think even my cat has issues? The trick is to gain enough insight along the way so that theyre all small enough to be safely stowed in the overhead compartment.
I think youd call me a gregarious introvert, if that makes any sense. I enjoy getting out there and meeting new people, trying new things, but I greatly value my quality alone time, my solitude, and my time spent with my closest companion.
I have a career that I enjoy one that keeps me busy but its all about being inspired to attain that healthy worklife balance. To that end, a personal goal is to rediscover things that bring me joy. My purely for fun list for this year a return to pleasure reading, a language class at UBC, some Flamenco guitar, a cooking class or two, and give skiing another try.
I have travelled some, but not nearly as much as Id like. I have some catching up to do in that department. A couple of trips may be on the horizon one mindless beach trip to decompress in the Fall; one tour of Andalusia next Spring. Both would be much more fun with a sidekick. and Id definitely be happy to save the aisle seat for someone special. Okay, the window. Maybe.
I keep relatively fit, but Im no gym junkie. An unapologetic urbanite, I do enjoy a good hike, long walks, the beach, but I dont do tents, and Im not as outdoorsy as so many on here. Im a quietly passionate person still waters run deep; I like good food, good wine, and good company. I also think Im a pretty good listener, but getting back to me ... ;
I appreciate wit mines a bit on the dry, cheeky side, charm, intellect, fashion sense, humility, affection, introspection, and kindness; someone who isnt too selfabsorbed bit boring or coy ditto. Im relatively housebroken, can string a sentence together, and know which one is the salad fork.
